spam reporting

Usually when I use the red triangle to report spam, I get a confirmation window that it has been reported.
Last two days, after hitting submit, it just takes me back to the post and I'm not sure the report has gone through.
Has it?

I'm going to assume that the report gets sent to the forum moderators. I just reported one, and I can't see anything that says that it's been reported either.
