Profile Picture in Reply (How?)

I was wondering how some of the people that reply (and/or post) to threads have their profile pictrue on the left side of the reply. My attemp at a reply to a message only showed my name without my profile picture. Thank for any help

The small pic next to your posts is called an avatar. You create it on your MY PROFILE page. Click on EDIT AVATAR in the left hand column of links. then follow the steps to upload the image from your hard drive (or link to it online).

The profile pic is only seen when a viewer goes to your public profile page.

Now, of course, if you want, you can make them both the same image...
