This site seems backwards to me

Before any flames start, allow me to explain.
I participate in more than a few photography forums, and in all but this one the newest posts are at the bottom. This makes more sense to me, as the continuing thread can be read like any standard article, from top to bottom.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or is that just the way the forum is set up?

There's a "Display Modes" dropdown (see image below). Try the other options and see if you like one better. The "Hybrid View" displays the latest posts at the bottom and it also shows a threaded view. That's how I view the forums. It's been a while, but I don't think that's the default, though.
