"No thread stretch" Eliminates need to scroll sideways

So when someone links an external image, such as a 1024x768 image, there's no need to scroll sideways, and it makes the image a clickable link if you want to view the full sized one.

IMO it would be a great addition to any photography forum.

What an excellent idea that would be.

I've tried to make it hard for people to post big photos, for that very reason. But a software hack would be sweet. Thanks for the link. I'll send it to the developers. They aren't always really enthusiastic about customizing the forums, though. These forums are part of a network of 11 sites and any change made to one has to be made to all. But in this case, I think it's a no-brainer.

    Gracias!

The only thing is that's a phpBB hack - I'm not sure how difficult it would be to port it to vBulletin.

What's BB? I saw that it was php and figured it would work. That's why we have developers :D

phpBB is open source bulletin software and has it's own coding structure, but I don't think it's too far off from vBulletin's, although I've never really looked at either one. It's definitely a great idea - horizontal strecthing annoys me to no end.

Since Vbulletin is so much better than PHPBB, I'm sure that there's an equivalent.
