Gallery comments in limbo?

I just noticed that the comments on "Photo of the Day" (river flowers) show when you view the picture on the home page, but when I go to my gallery and click on the picture, the comments don't show. The comments seem to not be connecting from one view to another. :confused:

Don't know how to check out the scope of this problem, so I'll leave it to the experts...

I believe that's a complicated software problem. If I remember correctly, the gallery software sees each copy of a photo as a separate file. So the same image in the Critique gallery and your personal gallery could have different comments. It shouldn't be like that, but that's how the gallery creators (not our engineers) built it. I agree that it's not right and should be changed. I've brought it up with the developers before and I'll do it again. Maybe now is the time to see if something can be done.
