FAQ - User review items missing?!?

I have discovered almost half a dozen threads all asking roughly the same question:

"I'm trying to write a review on XXX product, but XXX product is not listed. Can someone please add it so I can write a review?"

All these nearly identical threads cause confusion - and your product may not be added as a result. Why confusion?

~A Moderator/Administrator has to view each thread one-by-one to check the requests, and he/she may not be able to view each thread, say, if the title isn't very descriptive.

~It takes much more time to visit each thread one-by-one.

In an attempt to prevent the previously stated from occuring, I have created this thread here - which from now on if you have any requests for products to be added - please post them here, don't create new threads or post somewhere else. This will make work easier for everyone.:)

Also, if your product is a no-name filter (or similar not-well-known items), they may not qualify to be added. However, please feel free to ask, more often that not your product does indeed qualify!!!:yesnod:

STEPS TO TAKE FOR POSTING YOUR REQUEST

#1. Make certain that your particular product is not listed. Check the brand name and product name you typed for spelling errors.

#2. If you are absolutely certain that XXX product is not listed - please keep on reading...

#3. Copy the following pre-made form:

I want to write a user-review on the following product: <replace with complete product name>

Can it please be added to the list of user-reviewing items? I have double-checked that it is NOT already listed there.

I will keep my promise and write the user-review as soon as the product is added. Thanks in advance.

#4. Paste the form into the "Quick Reply box" at the end of this page, or click on the "Go Advanced" button and paste there.

#5. Fill out the blank space with your product's complete name. For example:

nikon 18-200 vr = WRONG!
Nikon 18-200mm VR lens = WRONG!
Nikon AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G VR IF-ED Nikkor Zoom Lens = CORRECT!

If the product name you have entered is mis-spelled, then your request may run the risk of not being added - since the product's complete name is neccessary.

#6. Confirm thread subscriptions & miscellanous. After this is done, post the reply!
