30 seconds between searches

When I came to the forum tonight, I hit the New Posts button like I always do, and I got the "This Forum requires you wait 30 seconds between searches" message, but instead of saying that I could do another search in 28 seconds, is said I needed to wait for over 1700 seconds!

I hear you. We were adding a new forums server earlier and we've also been having trouble with our ad server. Hate it when the ads slow down page loads. Seems ok to me right now. But I know it's been spotty. It will get back to normal soon, I hope.

I to have been having resposne issues. At work during the day (Eastern Standard Time USA). I get Server Busy a lot. At home the response is horrible. This is the second time I have tried to post this. Either the page does not load at all, or fails to load completely. I do think it has something to do witht he ads. But I am also checking my Browser settings and to see if anything nasty has creeped into my system. But ad wise my troubles started when the add banners started at the top. Sometimes thats the only thing that loads.

I was going to spend time updating my PC with all the latest and greatest but things are working much better now. THANK YOU. Still need to update my PC some time or other.

Well, you know Michael, 1700 seconds really isn't that long. That is, unless you're hanging by your thumbs. Or some other sensitive body part...
