Re: Forum Upgrade Complete: Post Issues, Bugs, etc. Here

Got it Jeff....found it by scrolling all the way back to the top :-)
I guess it would be simpler if it was at the bottom where one just finished a post.
Just laziness on my part :-)
    Happy New Year to all.

    Mike,

I'd like to see the uploaded photos strung out vertically in a single column instead of appearing in side-by-side groups. When this happens it's necessary to go through the hassle of rearranging them for final display. On more than one occasion I have lost a photo when having to go through the rearrangement hassle.

How about a user's guide that provides detailed instructions on how to proceed with posting photos. Users should not have to learn the system through a trial and error process.

Just as a note, the old forum did the same thing - displaying the images side by side. It did/does it any time there is enough room. The difference is that now the images are smaller and you are more likely to have room.

Are you uploading the images directly to the post, to the gallery first, importing from another gallery or as a link from another site?

When you are adjusting the images, are you seeing them as thumbnails or as [ attach ] code (or another type of code)?

    Terry,

    Thanks for responding.

I am uploading the images directly from my computer desktop to the post.

When I am rearranging the images I am seeing them as thumbnails.

To make them vertical, move the cursor to the bottom left of the second image (easier to do with the arrow keys rather than the mouse) and hit Enter a couple of times. Do this for the third, fourth, etc. You can also put text between them. - Terry
