Is there some reason that I cannot get the pages to fill up my screen? The pages only use about a third of my screen and that is not good. Jeff

Attached images aren't showing. I only get a link. - Terry

EDIT - Also, I'm getting a lot of pages not showing. I click to do something and the screen just goes white forever. If I hit the 'back button' the correct (new) screen shows. - Terry

Mike's image wasn't showing for me at first but after I logged in it showed up. Does it show for you now, Terry?

I never had any problem seeing Mike's image (though it is only 510x340). It is attached images I cannot see. I always attach so that I can put text between:

    AKC Agility Trials

The images from others I saw this morning were also only links, but they were in a gray box.

Testing the image insert (tree icon):

    Image #1

    _DSC1680.jpg

    Second image

    _DSC4588-1_-2_tonemapped.jpg

And a third one. This one has an attach=config in the first brackets???

    DSC00524-Edit_edited-1-3-Edit.jpg

    Terry

    EDIT: Now I'm really confused.
Tried adding the =CONFIG to the first two: didn't help.
Tried using the image number for the third in the second spot and it worked. It appears to be the width - i.e. it will no longer handle 800 wide.

Thanks Terry that worked but I think that full screen should be the default and not an option.

It looks like the attachment problem has been fixed? Do they look ok to everyone else now, too? I see Terry's photos are all showing and I checked another thread with attachments on the Sports Photography forum and those photos were showing, too.

I'm seeing them all now, but only at a max of 510x510. - Terry

I don't like the image size being limited to fitting in the view (i.e. no scrolling) but I really didn't like the way the previous version put its own scroll bars inside the IE window, where you had to go all the way to the bottom of the page to get the forum's scroll, move back up and find the image. Not sure why it can't just make a wide page and let your browser handle it...... But then, the developers didn't consult me on this. )

My other issue is that I don't check a box to save my login, I have to log in every time I come to the forum. I will NOT set saved passwords in my browser, so that's not an answer. I didn't like that the default was to have the box checked, but I like even less the box being gone altogether.

Have not encountered anything else I'd shoot anybody because of. Just those.

Have you tried clicking on the resized photos? They're now clickable so you can see the original size if you want.

I'll have to look into this. I haven't noticed that I'm getting bumped out so maybe there's something different between your experience and mine.

Though the 510x510 is small, one click and it is full size without the bright white background - I like.

I haven't had to login once since the change.

Re: Forum Upgrade Complete: Post Issues, Bugs, etc. Here

I found a "Remember me" check box, accidently. It's on the screen that re-prompts you if you mis-type your password.

As for the pictures clicking, I remember looking for that and not seeing clickability, but all the images in this thread behave as described. I have decided that this is acceptable to me. I'm sure you're all relieved.

Regarding picture size (and clickability,) I might not have been logged in when I was examining those (since I've had the missing "Remember me" checkbox,) by looking at one of my own threads. When not logged in, the images are shrunk to fit the forum style. When I'm logged in, I'm set to "Full page" and my images are not shrunk. I link externally rather than attaching images to the post, so it behaves differently. Attached images behave as described in the last couple of posts.

I would like the frame around the image to be neutral grey, not white.
But it's a great improvement over the all-white we had before.

Hi Mike, great upgrade and nice background photo.
    One thought for consideration...
When finished posting a reply, it would be nice to be able to click the forum listed in the Quick Navigation window and get you back to the same forum rather than having to go through the list again.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the upgrade and my my background photo

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're asking for. Are you not being returned to the correct page when you're done posting a reply? Or are you just looking for a quicker way to go to the index page of the forum you're on, rather than staying in the thread page? There is a forum breadcrumb with links above the thread. Does clicking on the forum link there accomplish what you want?

What I'm trying to say is ..let's say I'm on the Nikon forum page, and have just replied to a post. Then I want to go back to the Nikon forum page, but when I click on the Nikon forum in the Quick Navigation window, I just get the forum selection screen rather than returning me to the Nikon forum page.

Lets say you were in the Nikon forum and looking at my tips thread and wanted to go back to the Nikon forum. Below is what you would see on the page and if you clicked on the Nikon Camera Equipment it would take you right back to the Nikon forum where you want to go. Jeff

Go to the Nikon forum and post a reply. Then after you reply, look about an inch below the blue line that is toward the top of the page it says

    Forum, Gallery, Latest Posts

and you will see a line about an inch below that, that says
