D7000 and 24-120mm f4 lens

Is there anyone here who has the d7000 and the 24-120mm f4 lens, and if so, would appreciate some feedback.

Gosh, it's been really quiet here lately. Anyways, have read a lot of positive feedback with this combination, so the 24-120 f4 lens will be bought after Christmas to go along with my new d7000.

I've considered that one a couple times, but I'd 1. wait until I get a d800, and 2. would rather have a 24-70 2.8. I think I would favor the 24-120 over the 28-300 for a walk around lens though.

That's what it will be, my everyday walk around lens.

I am using a D7000 but with a Tokina 12-24mm. Nikkor lens is way out of my budget.
