Canon PowerShot D20 Rugged Waterproof Camera In-House

Canon sent us their new D20 waterproof, shockproof camera for review. I opened it up and started making an intro video yesterday. I've been looking forward to checking this one out for a while. Right now the Olympus Tough TG-1 is my top pick of the rugged, waterproof P&S cameras. But I think Canon usually manages to put out the best P&S image quality quality so I'm curious to see how the D20 compares to the Olympus.

Re: Canon PowerShot D20 Rugged Waterproof Camera In-House

I'm working on putting together a hands-on video intro to the D20. It already survived a shower video shoot and a day on the mountain bike trails. This morning I shot studio tests and they looked great - the best I've seen so far from a waterproof point-and-shoot. Based on those tests, I think I may have to revise the recommendations on my 2012 Outdoor & Waterproof Camera Guide. I should have those studio sample photos posted in the next day or so.

Rain shower or did you just take it into the shower?
Maybe you should have done that with the OM-D E-M5 and 12-50 lens as they are weather sealed
