    Who likes Bokeh?

It has been a while since I've posted. So the question is, who likes Bokeh?

    ISO:100; 50mm @ f/2.8; 1/500 sec.

Nice photo, bokeh will be even bigger if you open more aperture or you use a longer focal distance lens.

I think the bokeh aspect of this shot is just a little overdone. The primary leaf section could also be a bit sharper. I like the concept but there is just to much OOF area.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I hate the very word.....When I learned photography in the 1960's the word did not exist. The same processes were used but not with such a ridiculous and nonsensical word.

    Re: Who likes Bokeh?

I've seen shots with bokeh that I like but sorry to say this isn't one of them.
As Footski says, it is just too overdone.

    Thanks for your comments.

Bokeh (or shallow depth of field) is one of those things that can easily be overdone. Might have done that in this case.

Hminx: Yeah, I also notes the out of sharp also. Unfortunately I was competing with the wind, and members of my family to not fall behind. I'm kicking myself I didn't take a couple shots at different f-stops.. Ahh well.
