    Utrecht from above

    Hey again,

This was shot yesterday from a tower in Utrecht. Made a whole series from up there.
Added some vignetting and a slight warm filter.

    Any thoughts?

That looks nice, rather lacking on contrast on my screen. But that is due to the grey sky and the stone.
There are good blacks in the shadows and the people in the snow.
Does it have a slight left tilt? The tower does not look quite vertical.

No question there is a tilt to the image and it is amazing how that is the first thing this viewer notices. Takes away from an otherwise fine image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Utrecht from above

I like your image, as it has good geometry, composition, sharpness and interest. I see a slight purplish tint to it that probably isn't helpful, esp with the snow. I do see the tilt of the tall right foreground building, it's tilting less in the corrected shot. But the tall background center building is straight, which tells me either the buildings have different angles in real life or that you're getting some lens distortion. I think you can correct this with Adobe Photoshop's lens correction filter, if you have CS. Nice angle to take a photograph from!

Ok, this must be it then.
Thanks for noticing. I will keep a better eye out for it myself next time.
