    Printing in multiple tones

I have a question, I don't know where to turn. There is a photo booth company that can print in what they call "Split tones" in that on their double photo strip on strip can be color and the other strip (same 5x7 sheet) is black & white or sepia.

How do they do this? Is there software or something or a person who can write software to do this?

Here is a link to the website and what I am talking about:

    Re: Printing in multiple tones

    Hey Prunge,

I'm one of the founder of The Traveling Photo Booth. Glad you like our Split Tones!!!!

It's a feature that we currently patent pending for. To view the patent, search Google for patent #US7885522 and it will come up (I'm unable to post links as I'm a new member to this forum).

So, unfortunately that feature is ours and ours only.

    Best,
