    I think this is well done. Composed nicely and I like the contrasting difference in color with the old wood and the sky. The holes are perfectly placed and not one hanging out of the frame. Nice work Cindy.

    I see what you see - a cool pattern and path leading the viewer. However, the trees showing through are distracting and not super-aesthetic, and the lighting is only so-so. Try cropping just above the tree line, making it a square-like crop, and see what you get...

    Although I feel I'm losing a sense of imposing-ness that the "height" of the wall lent itself.

    Cindy - I like it better like this, personally, but what I think may also work is a good horizontal pic that shows more of the (top part of the) fence on the left and right. I can even see a panoramic shot of just the top of the fence Maybe I'm looking at things from a different angle though.

    Anyway, great eye here for noticing this.
