Question Considering A Canon EOS 60D

    Hello everyone,
Newbie to DSLRs. I've been using a P/S for years ,before that, 20 yrs ago ,used to own a Minolta 7000i 35mm SLR. After doing some research , i'm leaning on purchasing a 60D.I'll be using it mostly for family pics and all around use.Any opinions?
    TIA,
    Joe

Re: Considering A Canon EOS 60D

the 60D is a good choice. For portraiture, get it with a fixed fast lens. The 50mm f/1.8 is always a good choice, great quality and cheap at only $100.

The very best ones would be, the 85mm f/1.4L, the 100mm f/2.8L, and the 135mm f/2L.

Just, don't get that, only to use it in auto mode. If so, you may as well just get a rebel...
