Carlo, great macros - crisp and sharp. Would care to you share with us what gear you use and how you manage to get these so sharp and with such a decent DOF. Thanks.

    thanks everyone for last comments
It's difficult for me in english
I use D300 and 70/180 macro nikon, exetnsion tube kenko, no flash only natural light, tripod very light
and I always try to get the perfect parallelism with the subject and use a diaphragm just for DOF and BG
    sorry for my bad english

Your English is far, far better than my Italian (or any other language). I look forward to more of your images – your craftsmanship is excellent. - Terry.

English is fine, not to worry...thanks for sharing your approach to macro photography, still curious what types of exposures, etc. that you use and do you shoot raw and how much post-processing do you do. I look forward to seeing more of your images.

    hello everyone
Thanks Carlo, I will definitely go and have a look at your website.

So I did go and look at your website and I am completely overwhelmed by the quality and composition of your images - you present something that I can only hope to achieve - absolutely fantastic...for anyone else reading these posts, if you are a nature and landscape lover, or if you are just interested in seeing great photography, the you must go and look at Carlo's images. Carlo, you must have a lot of patience and it would seem you are often in the right place at the right time. I also suspect that you spend a significant amount of time in post-processing.

    Cheers,

    WesternGuy
