    woody sunset

These are a dime a dozen I know, but I treasure my chances to shoot and share now that I'm back in school. I found the silhouetting a bit unique.

Oh, and yes, I did treat it a bit, hence the smoothness of the clouds. Does it work?

I like it ...what I think worked out very well is that there is no orange / red burn around the edges of the sun ...usually, that seems to be what happens.

Perfect capture! There isn't a single branch in the way of the sun. I really like how the trees are blacked out in the foreground too.

Actually, there is. That would be my one critique n8 is to smooth away the dark red/orange outline around the sun. Otherwise its an excellent shot and composed perfectly.
    Sweet work

VERY beautiful! I love the smoothness of the clouds and the perfect colors framed by the silhouette of the trees. Very nicely done! Can't critique if I see nothing wrong!

I think the red line around the edge makes it look real. Hmm, but it may look better without it. They may be a dime a dozen but I always enjoy looking at them.

that edge may be an artifact from the filter. I'll have to give it another run and see if I can mask it out.
