i think the BG overpowers your subject here. they just don't grab my attention enough. there are too many of the pedals and they all are same size (smalllish) centered and lots of BG. I wish you got in a big closer on one. nice flat disk like flowers though, don't think i've seen these before.

They are small, about the size of a dime.
My wife thinks thay are the crown of thorns flower.
They tend to sway in the breeze and are a challenge for a narrow DOF shot.
Here's one with the flower in full focus.
Look through a glass eye.
Give it a few tries.
Nothing goes right in its time.
