    Pearl Spotted Owl

    The original was a bit flat and boring so I CS4'd it a bit - any comments?

    Dennis, looks good to me - not something I will see in my neighbourhood - thanks for sharing. I checked my book - they are just little guys - always nice to see something from other parts of the world? Was this from the same area as your previous postings?

    Yes Ron - also taken at Timbavati but is to be found in Botswana as well. If you spot one there then chances are you will find a Verreaux's (Giant) Eagle Owl in the same vicinity (that's what happened here) or visa versa. Not long to go now hey?

    Like the kind of b&w look of it. If you could rid those big branches right behind its head, it would even be better. Personally I would brighten the owl, too. But, your call. Thank you for sharing !
