    In the Ball

This was the result of a play with a takumar 55 1.8.
This old lens, is pretty sweet.
Shot hand held, I had to focus and then wait for the next ball to come around, as there four of them spinning around.

well i think u got the focus right.

to me there are two photos here. or two different feels to the two halves of this photo, the bright colorful right, then the rusty dark reddish/brownish tints of the right. they're kinda fighting each other in my brain. also had the two sides connected somehow this might have been stronger, like if the metal piece and the arm were in as much focus as the ball, that might have tied the two sides.

    Re: In the Ball

Snoid, I haven't seen you here in a while! Good to see you back!

This reflection is really cool, I love the reflection in the ball. The composition is really good as well, but unfortunately I find the subject matter a little too bright and "kid friendly", so to speak. Basically, I WANT to believe this was at a casino, but it just has the colors and looks of something at a kids arcade instead. Maybe it was a casino, but the light green, yellow and blue are the shades of the hue you're likely to see in an elementary school, I haven't seen those colors in a casino (would expect a dark red and black).

Anyway, a great shot, but I think the subject matter really limits the potential here.
