    Duality

Not sure why I'm posting this-it might be considered a "snapshot" to most but the trees and mountain behind them have more than 40 miles between them. I like the duality of this picture because maybe, it's not what most folks without a camera are able to see.

    I leave it to you.....

Personally, I think it just needs to be a bit sharper. It just seems a bit too fuzzy to me. I understand what you're trying to put out there, I just think it needs a little more depth to it.

"Fuzzy" seems to be my middle name, as of late......

However, everyone else who shoots digital seems to need a program to add to their digital files to make them seem more "filmic"......

I strive to shoot "filmic" from the start........my images are not "razor sharp" -THAT is way easy to achieve, especially with "RAW" and PP. It is what sets me apart from everyone else who chooses the aforementioned methods. I don't use the gear that everyone else deems "popular", because "popular" means "more of the same".....

    My implement is digital

    My heart is *film*.....

I use technology to enforce my sense of traditionalism.......

    not to replace it........

I'd like to see more detail in the snow, and a more vibrant contrast. Remove the color cast from snow. I really like the composition and the placement of the trees in the frame.
