    My winter so far

hey guys. I haven't been around much, too many websites, too little time, but I have been out shooting. I've pared down my activity and hope to be here more. At any rate, here's where I've been lately -

Marsh at Plum Island, MA (November) -

Beaver pond at sunrise, NH (December) -

Marsh at Salisbury, MA (January) -

Sunset on Lake Massabesic, NH (January) -

    thanks guys.

the foggy Plum Island photo is a favorite, the fog just added so much to the scenery.

ditto with the beaver pond shot, the mist came up as the sun got nearer to the horizon and it just makes that image for me.

    Beautiful landscapes!

All are wonderful - especially like #3 for the abstract quality and #4 for the color and texture.

How did you find open water this time of the year for #3?

    Re: My winter so far

thanks Loupey. the open water was a surprise. We had low enough temps for people to be walking out beyond those rocks in that lake shot. Then we got a few days in the 40s and on New Year's Day it was 60. bye bye ice. it's back by now and covered in snow so I'm really glad I got this shot when I did.
