Nice shot, I'd like to see a slightly higher F/stop to take the blur off the top of the plant. Nice job isolating the subject from the background, good color.
Why did you take this shot? Seems like an unlikely subject.

This is a Northern Thistle at the end of it's annual life cycle. I like Thistle's because they attract many varietes of butterflys and have many interesting looks throughout the growing season. Thank you for your interest and comments.
