    Winter Blooms

While the rest of the country is digging out from record snow fall and sub-zero temperatures, San Diego is enjoying the wilds of winter blooms.

I really like the coloration of the first one but it seems soft in places and some small areas blown out. The compositon is very good.

    Hi Greg,

I agree. It didn't come out as well as I had hoped but it looked interesting enough that I thought it was safe to post. My favorite is the third image; I like the lines.

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.

love the detail in all 3. the first one stands out for me because of the separation from teh background, caused by the bg being darker giving it some contrast as well. the 2nd one also has a nice feel to it. well done.

how much I wish I lived in SD

Thanks Leels. Your comments are much appreciated. It is raining here in SD today. Not sunshine and 75 every day.

I lived in Minneapolis until the winter my hand froze to the gear shift of my car. That was it for me. Moved to San Francisco then found my south to where it never snows and an ugly winter day is low 60's with a day of rain.
