Hi all, spotted this Little Blue or Fairy penguin resting at the high tide mark this evening. It didn't seem to be too bothered with my presence so I grabbed a few shots and left it in peace

BTW this is the only one I have ever seen around here as we are hundreds of miles from the nearest breeding colony

Wait, you mean we don't have them in the Great Lakes? All this time I've been looking for penguins to come out of Lake Michigan onto Montrose Beach has been for nothing?

I like the first image. The exposure seems better. More even.
