    Sunrise Scout

I was up before dawn today (don't ask!!) and captured this fellow scamming on my bird feeders. Meaning, it feeds on the birds at my feeders! Note, the white specs in the picture are not dust/debris, they are stars.

CF - not a bad catch at all, but I wish there was either a little more light/detail on the bird or that it was razor sharp. It just seems a tad small and undefined as is. Good catch though. The purple background is unusual.

    GB,

Thanks for leaving the message and comments. I know the bird has dark areas, i.e., head through the center of the tail as the shot is taken from below, but I thought the backlit feathers of the wings and tail, which you can count, were pretty sharp. The pink/purple ring was unique. I am lucky it came through.

    Thanks again.
