    Waterfire, Providence, RI

Tried playing around with the manual settings on my P&S to see what I could do with the various "illuminated" attractions. All but the second photo was handheld. I was trying to use available light but did use fill flash here and there. No PP done on these except for cropping. I shot with an ISO 800 setting to help me out with the low light, knowing it may be a little noisy with this camera. In retrospect I should have fooled around with some lower ISO settings. Next time. http://www.waterfire.org

The first two do nothing for me but I really like the motion in the third. The look of concentration on his face is well captured. And the blur of his arms along with the circle of fire is pretty neat. Wish the fire would have made a competely enclosed circle. I'm always trying to capture motion and can't ever succeed.

I like them all. Interesting compositions - I checked exif on the first as I am seeing just a tad bit of softness/motion blur. It was shot at f/8 iso 800. I think you would have been better off shooting at f/4 or thereabouts with lower ISO (or even all the way open, being a point and shoot anyway) and had better IQ. Though, looks like you already recognized that anyway. I am really digging the composition and exposure of the first, the reflections and building really work well here.
