Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I like all three of these. I may even prefer #2 to #3 for the lines and sort of abstract feel of it. Nice work CF

    Armando/jet:

Thanks both for leaving comments. As for a couple shots being too close, I think anyone can take pictures of a rhino or giraffe. But, to make a shot interesting I guess a.) you have to take a risk that something out of the ordinary will work and, b.) put it out there for comments. I am working on a series of eyes; animals bugs, people....., which almost by definition requires some fairly close and new angles on very recognizable creatures. We'll see, no pun intended, how it turns out.

    Thanks again.

That shot of the rhino, i think it is, is pretty cool. It'd be pretty neat if you just got his eye in the frame and nothing else. The rough skin would be neat to see close up.

Good experiments on trying to make the shots unique, which you did,
I think the first two are 'almosts' but don't quite work for me.
    Third is the best

Thanks both for your comments. That is what the forum is about, throwing it up there and seeing what people think. I appreciate you doing so.

This is fun and interesting. I like the sharpness but the picture of the giraffes (#2) seem odd to me. However, I love the textures and shapes on the animals' skin.

    Minette,
Thanks for leaving your comments. Image 2 was oversharpened, but I was interested in what folks had to say about the angle/perspective too. The very close up is a rhino. Thanks for leaving the comments.
