    George and the Jasmine

This is George, checking to see if any birds are feeding off our jasmine.

    Re: George and the Jasmine

Cropped like this, it looks like the missing ear tip is an accident.
I'd suggest either a closer crop, or get all of that ear in.

    Re: George and the Jasmine

I'm usually the first one to say something about stuff running off frame and the ear is bit of a problem but it is otherwise such a nice shot that, for me, the ear is only a slight problem.
You got those eyes really good and love the bokah

    Re: George and the Jasmine

Thanks Paul, Frog, and armando, I didn't think the ear was a biggie at first, but on reflection I decided you guys were right, so I built him an ear. I hope I have got the proportions right. What do you think ?

    Re: George and the Jasmine

Works for me! Very good job building the ear.
Did you do it by increasing the canvas size and cloning?

    Re: George and the Jasmine

That's just what I did Frog, plus a gaussian blur to the upper back ground as it was a bit rough after the ear clone.
