Took this the other morning.

very nice red, and good focus

taking this photo with flash i do not think makes the flower looks it's best

it does make it stand out vs the background

i would rather use natural light, or use an external flash
also i would move the center of the flower from the center off the photo, probably just crop a portion of the right which only has a dark background
