    Male Model (black and white)

I shot this with Ilford 400 b&w C41 film using my Canon A2. C&C is appreciated.

Looks very good, Poker. i like the setting and layout, and although this could have turned into a very busy setting and took away from the model, it seems to have come off fine and works. He does not stand out very strong from the scene, but it does not hurt, I feel. Looks natural anyway. The pose it good as well as the light on the subject.
Looks good to me, nice work.

I like your capture of the subject. I'd suggest a little cropping to create more focus on him...vertical crop just to the right of the black iron gate, vertical crop to the left of the white pipe upright, and a horizontal crop just under the dark concrete tiles to remove some of the messy masonry below. This lower the subject in the frame and take him off vertical center, yet keep in the ornate columns on the left.

This is a really nice shot, but I can't help but wonder if it might have been even better with the gates open...

Thanks. I'll give it a try. This already has minor cropping but I wasn't sure how much tighter I should go.

Thanks. I agree that it can be judged as busy. Maybe the b&w helped out in this case.

I think this shot needs remastering. the heavy black border makes it look like newsprint - there is no other strong black in the composition. Other than that, it looks good (not that I'm qualified to say).

Really nice shot. Maybe just a little tighter crop and next time, no shirt. Thanks

Thanks Phil and Nicci. Nicci, I do have a 'no shirt shot' of this model but it is not the great composition.

I suppose I could readjust the levels. The tonality of all the photos in this roll of film was a bit dark gray and lacking black. I think because I use a 3 year old roll of film from the fridge Thanks.
