Question The Sax player - keep or trash it?

I shot this at an event last night. I have probably 30 other well composed tack sharp images, but this one intrigued me. Normally, I'd just dump anything with focus problems, but I decided to play with this particular one as it had kind of a '60's feel to it. Cropped square and processed through NiK Silver Efx (push process N1 w/Ilford 400. Just not sure if I'm being objective...worth keeping?

Looks like he moved his head just as you pushed the button, if his face was as sharp as the rest this would be a cracker shot.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Sometimes the "imperfect" can be far more interesting than the "perfect". I don't go with the "must be sharp' school and in no way would I have trashed this shot. The branchy thingy and the leaf below could be done without though.
Otherwise this is fine to me and I also like the angle.

Hard to say. Don't know what I'd do with it if it were mine.
But since 'something about it' intrigues you, I think you should keep it.
It does have a certain something....to me after thinking about it, I'd say 50s avant garde type photo

Yep, i'm pretty quick on the delete process so take that into consideration when i say that if you have 30 or so more that are fine, i would throw it. I think it has something to it, but not enough where the blur face adds anything here, for me. If it were only one or two that you manged to squeeze out from this subject, absolutely keep. If it continues to grab you for whatever reason, then you might as well put it away for another days look.

I think it is a keeper as well. The motion blur really catches the eye off the bat and inspires a bit of curiosity. It did for me anyway. Great shot.

Great shot. Only problem is I guess I am a stickler for crisp, but don't do so well myself.

    Keeper for sure.
    Play with it some more.
    A vignette might look nice.
I hate to say it. But i will
Since the sax becomes the subject by default. ( It's sharp and in perfect line with the right third.........Colorize it. It's bit tight on the bottom, but it would work.

PS crop it to the leaf on the left.
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.
Nothing goes right in its time.
