    Bees wax salesman

This guy is a real interesting character, normally wears a bowler hat, but today looks a bit like Dennis Rodman with that hair. My problem is that I think this looks a bit busy and I wonder would a narrower DOF helped. The reason this is B&W is because some of the colours were just a little too vivid
Thought I'd done enough trees for a while....
PS He gave an absolute assurance that the bees wax he sold me would be ideal for my work boots.

I'd say a faster ss would be nice, but the motion blur makes for a more candid shot I think.

The business makes me look at details throughout the frame but I agree that less dof would be better.

    You mentioned busy.

Not within your control much ... but if the two spectators were out of the picture, that could look a lot different.

This one would work if there were better view of their expressions and, yes, it was less busy. The blur hurts. I can see what drew you in and you obviously had very little time to compose, but too many things working against this one .......

Try a tight crop. Cut off the top to just above his head. Cut the right side to only show about 1/3 of the back of his chair. On the chair leg thats left, cut the bottom up to the bottom of the chair leg...but leave a little space to show ground. On the left side, crop right until those white cartons are gone. After the crop, the background may need some work, but It'll give the pic very much new meaning...I mean, the subject is him at work...right? The blur would work in this case. My 2-
