    what it is

Not sure whether to work on this anymore. Shooting conditions were less than ideal but had to give it a try. Taken a year and a half ago and recently re-discovered.

    Re: what it is

This is an interesting shot Frog. It may never hang in a gallery, but well worth keeping a copy of. I do think it suffers a bit from "too much context - not enough subject", but I tend to shoot on the tight side anyway. If you don't mind I can post a copy as I see the crop here.

I agree this is very interesting. I would crop alot here. Much off the bottom some off both sides to bring the girl way up front. Its a worthwhile endeavor in working on this some more. Certainly something to start with.

    Re: what it is

Thats pretty close to the crop i had in mind, but perhaps not quite that tight. Hopefully the girl is fairly sharp in the high res file.
Converting to b&w can help rid the weird color cast from the garage lighting.

Interesting to read Gary's comment and see Terry arrive at the same conclusion I did, including cloning in the EXIT sign LOL

    Re: what it is

Sorry, I haven't been back to thank you jetrim, OC, and Gary.
I can see why you favor the crops but I think they lose the empty feel of the solitary figure.
The woman is not sharp and there is more noise in the shot than appears here.
Was using the 18-200vr and not sure why but maybe not enough dof at f/5.6.
I'm going to try working on it some more and maybe go b/w with it when I have the time.

Thank you again for your comments and crop ideas.
    Keep Shooting!
