I would really love that first shot, if the bottom of the wheel wasn't cut off.
The 4th with the one way sign is a great little detail - well spotted

    Aite, I'll tear ya up!

1.Love the comp, would like to see the riders face brightened up some. Also brightening will prob. bring out a little more of the rain drops that are falling around.

    2. Like the idea, but the composition just doesn't do it for me. I'm almost wondering what it would look cropped so the horn/runner aren't in it. I also think if the horn wasn't in the way of the guy running, it would look better.

    3. Only nit pik is the bottom of the "A" is slightly cut off.

    4. I love the comp, even the "one way" sign, but I do wish the lightpole wasn't there in front of the capitol building. Getting the rider in red, white, and blue was perfect.

    5. Again, like the idea, but I'd like to see more of a straight on shot (if it was possible) so the background is more out of focus and doesn't compete with the riders. Also possibly a lower angle would have been cool as you'd be able to see the riders face a little bit more.

Nice shot under adverse conditions. I love the blured motion of #4. We can nit pic any shot but overall super job.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I especially like the first and fourth photos, but I like them all. I would have liked the fourth photo even more if the one-way sign and traffic light had been offset so the capitol building wasn't partially covered.

Hey, Dad! After reading your comments I looked at the photo of the capitol again and I can see what you mean. I don't know how tied to the current composition desmo13 is. But I tried looking at it as a vertical with the rider centered. That puts the sign to the right of center and I think the photo is definitely stronger cropped like that.

if you are trying to show that the front rider is in the lead the first one is great. If it doesn't matter I think a tighter crop would look very good.
