    Whinnie

Been shooting my butt off lately, but loving it. This was an apparently very old lighting/reflector setup that I only learned of recently...

    Re: Whinnie

I like the angle and composition. Obviously you were going for a very bright look, but I think its just a tad too bright. Theres some personality here thats noticed just by the simple way shes holding neck and shoulders. The eyes here look excellent! Not really digging the background, the straight crease on the left side is a bit distracting. Vignetting could help the very plain background, perhaps also set it slightly off hue. Of course, hair frizz - though I seem to remember you mentioning doing minor edits like that later.

I tried the vignette and I really like what it adds to the bg. I did a little bit of the frizz control, but not much, I think the frizz looks worse here on her left side. There really is a lot of frizz on her left - I'd like to see a lot of it removed.

    The eyes are great.

I agree that the highlights are a little blown out (at least on my monitor).

I'm thinking a square crop would work well here and fill the frame with her face and hair. I tried it and lined up her left eye in the perfect rule of thirds intersection.

The trip seems good, the only thing is the management of light could be better.

Hmm. This one's good in many ways Jet, but it seems like her nose is almost lost in the blow out and that reduces the dimensionality. Actually, it's so bright on her cheeks, chin and forehead that it somehow makes her lips (with red lipstick) seem to jump out, almost float. I do like the eyes, and the hair is really nice. Overall the angle you took it at and the background is really flattering. Just not sure about the intense contrast.

    Re: Whinnie

The one thing that really bothers me is her lip liner is way too obvious - especially on her lower lip.
