    Nice reflections.

The whole image looks a little pink to me.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Dubbs, a little busy with all the ripples and reflections but ultimately i think it makes for an interesting photo and keeps me viewing. i like the composition with the placement of the goose to the side and the houses reflections prominent.
not sure how i feel about the inclusion of the land although the goose was too close for you have to done much about that.
i agree with Mb about the pinkish color cast. An Auto color should remove that in PP.
    Nice.
    Where was this?

I like it could crop a bit more but it is cool if there was no wind making ripples it would look like glass but we cant control mother nature. I agree it could be brighter and not look like sun down peach color .

Wow, that reflection sure makes this a different type of shot! I like the off centering of the duck. Very different overall. The only part that isn't so hot is the stuff in the foreground, which is just that which one can't get out of the photo (a painter wouldn't paint that part.. but that's the advantage of painting!)

    Re: goose pond

Thanks all, I agree about the mud....I cloned it out here , but now it just kind of looks like wasted space...would have been nice to get some ripples in there. I also fixed the color balance to take out that "pinkness"

Gahspidy, this is in Port Washington, NY ... Mill Pond just off of Shore Road.

now I think it looks a bit green, but maybe an improvement? I tried the auto-fix and it looked too blue.

This looks better Dubbs, I hope you didn't find my origional post too flippant as I really like this shot and the goose's stance is what makes it for me.

    Re: goose pond

the second image is great !

I do not see the green tone at all, I think still a bit pink, but I do not see that as a bad thing
