    Community College Softball

The community college softball team finally took the field to start the season (after a 2 week break following a preseason tourney) today.. Figured out the saturation stuff I had in the Minnesota-Duluth thread I posted.. definitely on my end in post processing. Started out at 1/3200 ISO 500, had some 1/2500 ISO 800 and finished at 1/1000 ISO 1600 by the end of 4+1/2 hours of softball.

    1. Being community college, there's not an age rule. She's a freshman (I think, she's new on the team they didn't have rosters printed for today) and the players call her Mama (she's 27 and wears 27 on her back).

    4. The middle of a sequence of 8 shots, girl juggled the ball but using two hands she ended up bare handing the ball for the out.. link below to all of the photos if you want to check that sequence out

I really like the action in #5 and the expression.
If only that arm and mitt weren't there ...
