    Space Shuttle launch from the water.

    We headed out in the dark hoping the launch was good to go. Got there with just a couple of minutes to spare.

    It was amazing to see and for the first time we heard the long low rumble across the water.

    EP1 with the Panasonic 20mm f1.7

    Different. I love the 4th from the top, though I guess one would have a hard time guessing from just the image that it was the SS launching.

    fantastic photos, ill be sad i never got to see a shuttle launch.

    in that second photo is that the one rocket booster falling back though the atmosphere?

    No, that is the shuttle under its own power. The big plume on the left is from the booster rockets.

    The plume on the RIGHT that is starting to fall apart is the booster rockets. The bright light with the wispy tail in the left of the frame is the shuttle under its own power....

    Sweet! different from what I expected, the trail looks very nice with the perfect light and exp.
