    Chukar Partridge

    Got in close for a decent shot at a Chukar Partridge today. Unfortunately, a piece of garbage on the ground screwed up the first picture a little.

    Very nice shot and an interesting bird, thanks for sharing. I think the trash, though deplorable, actually helps this shot make a statement about littering. It would make a nice print with a titled frame remarking on the litter. (can't think of a good title at the moment though...)

    That is a pretty partridge. I didn't realize you had those in ND. All we have here are the huns, and they're getting rarer all the time.

    They are a pretty rare find here. I was lucky to get as close as I did with only a 210mm lens.

    Pretty cool to see wild chukars! I see them once in awhile here, but they are stocked birds on rented hunting land.
