Interesting. Technically, it seems like you got what you were after. Emotionally, I'm not sure I get it -- kinda like an obscure haiku.

I really like the schematic nature of the hard line between the pillar and the leaf. The color is nice as well. The extreme change in the colors at the edge of the leaf also works for me.

If that encourages you, you should realize I am a bit out of step...

It was a technical assignment that nonetheless yielded a result that I quite like. However, I am often off the bell-curve and haiku, obscure and otherwise, appeals greatly to me. :-)
