    Yeah right .....

This is outstanding MB. I take it that the stuff above the second tree from the right is actually from an overhanging branch near you

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Pretty darn stylin', right down to the bird's reflection.

Not sure about the tree (?) on the right continuing out of frame, but it's hardly a big deal.

Nice one. Love the bird and its reflection and all the roosting birds in the tree.

    Re: Equinox Sunrise

Welcome back MB. I suspect you won't miss the D.C. area that much (I don't!).

I think you shot works on many levels, but compositionally it bothers me a little, not quite sure why .. Maybe the horizon is too centered, but it really isn't. Also wish the sun was 60 seconds higher, but then you would have missed the bird

Whoa! The more I look at those trees the more birds I see. That's almost scary.
    Beautiful shot, congrats on retirement.

Well we have 3 spare bedrooms and an extra kayak.

How do you feel about sharing the lakes with crocks?

BTW I shot the sunrise with my Olympus EP1 and kit lens and the sunrise preset....
