    Eye 2 Eye

This is a different redtail from the other day. It has some noise and the sky was overcast and white so I darkened the sky. The true color of the sky you can see between the wingtips. I could airbrush it but I wanted to show what the conditions were. I think of the potential it could have had..motivation to try again I guess. I'm impressed that the lens was able to capture anything at all under the low light conditions. I like how you can see him staring at me just as hard as I was at him. Something I would have never known without a lens.

Really a nice shot, even being a bit grainy. Great pose.

    Hi Darin,
Good capture. I love shooting Hawks and know what a pain they are in PP.

If I may provide a friendly critique,
the over processing/halo around the wings is a real distractor for me.
The edge is so sharp he almost looks pasted in.

The pose is so good , well worth some additional tweaking.
