The Eyes Have It
This weeks Project 365 theme is "eyes". I am actually going to try and do a full week of eyes. *fingers crossed* Maybe with different emotions conveyed through the eyes.
My first one is this one: Wonderment:
actually FINALLY a pretty good shot with my 50mm! I did a little PP with it but not a lot.

Very nice composition and Bokeh. The first thought that came to mind was should the eye be lighter to get some of that sheen which I like as a preference. I'd probably crop just a tad more from the top to take out the hair. A really super shot though Nicci, congratulations.
 Shootme...

Thank you!
hmm yes I see the hair. Didn't see it when I cropped it. I love the blue in the background. That was the colour of the sky through the huge windows (with some weird coating on them) behind him.
and I just realized I am week behind in themes... *sad pants*

Yep, I had to do a weird crop. The original was just a test shot so his hand made his cheek do something weird and I cut off his head....blah blah, the usuals.

We all do!
I had to look several times at this to figure out if I liked it, mostly due to the weird crop.
I've decided that I do. The hair doesn't bother me and I;d clone it out rather than cropping it any more.
Thanks for posting the original. A super shot, no doubt, but, as it turns out, I like the crop idea better. Maybe just a little more room top and bottom.
