    Good Hips

Paige. My neighbors Boxer. She was preparing to attack my Lab/Burnese cross as they had been playing hard for about an hour at this point.

Image #2 is the 2 dogs playing hard... just a reference shot.

It's clear. The DOF is good. I like the off-beat angle. Maybe eye contact would be an improvement.

    that's one healthy boxer

since her legs are out of the frame in every direction I would crop a bit more, probably up to her chest

    Re: Good Hips

Next time they play I will be trying again.

Lava - It's hard to get eye contact when they are so focused on each other like that. Boxers are so high strung that it makes them a fun challenge to shoot. When I tried to get her attention from Bristol (my dog) she would come to me instead of just lifting her head. Maybe I need a new noise or something to distract as opposed to whistling or calling her name.

Armando- I will try the tighter crop and see how much that changes the feel of the shot.

    Thanks for the comments.
