    Shetland

Overcast day in Shetland doing tourist stuff I know the picture is a bit dull, but it sort of captures the mood of the place

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    Nice composition, it flows well.

    Re: Shetland

nice work, I can't explain why but I did look at it for a long while, quite pleasant

Perhaps the stones on the floor and walls can use a bit of sharpening

I can't see very well, but seems the water is quite clear so the bottom of the boat is visible

I agree with both the above. I love the composition and general feel. I do think it's somewhat lacking technically

    Re: Shetland

Gregg, Armando, and Caleb thanks for taking the time to comment . I agree that this image is somewhat technically lacking, and this particular photo is one of the main reasons I bought a DSLR and joined this group. It is one of the favourite reminders of a trip my Wife and I had to Shetland, I was a bit dissapointed at the results achieved with my P&S, so one day I'm going to go back and reshoot this.
