    It's a nice pic, but not terribly compelling. I like what you went after compositionally, the curve of the shore and the tree line are good. maybe get lower down and definitely try this early or late in the day when the light is less harsh. The trees are dark as a result of this and the sky is almost too light. It is a great location and hopefully you can get back there.

    thank you. It was a sunny day. I will keep that in mind when I go back there. But in the meantime, I can try playing with it in photoshop.... really appreciate it.

    Nice composition and well executed shot IMO...its not easy to get good exposure with the sun in front.

    That is an extremely nice shot. Even the muddy shore has a gorgeous tone to it.
