    Fading light pond

    Hey all
I was looking for a water shot for a 4 elements series I want to do, but I think there is too much other stuff in this, and I think I can find a better water element. But I like the colours in the sky so I thought I would post it anyway.

    Cheers Pete

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    Beautiful colors and reflections.
I don't like the tree in the center so much but see that moving your position to get it less centered would probably have lost the best part of the sunset.
Pretty much a nit-pik. Lovely scene.

    Beautiful place

I would have lowered the exposure a bit more, in this cases I usually shoot multiple times, with different exposure values, I use the histograms, and lower the exposure to prevent overblown areas.

Yeah, I *really* like the color mix in here, but the composition is a bit off. About all you could do is crop some off the left and maybe the top. you dont want to lose any of the right.

Frog, Armando, & Daq appreciate the comments, agree composition does require some attention, also the angle of my laptop screen makes a huge difference in how the image appears, if the screen is at right angle to the line of sight the image appears a lot brighter, and it only needs a slight angle to make the images apparent exposure level noticibly darker. I do need to keep that in mind I think

I like it. Reflection and sunsets are on the top of my list. The only thing I MIGHT have done different is left the foreground out to get more of the sky, and then zoomed in to compensate for it, increasing the detail in the tree. But what do I know Bottom line, I think its a great shot, with a great eye..
