    self portrait

i wanted a pic of me with my bike, and i thought it would be fun, for no particular reason to make me B&W....turns out I was pretty much wearing all black and white anyway...I hate shooting at high noon, but this is when the opportunity arose....

I'd add some more filtering to yourself, just to add to the out of place effect, otherwise I'd try taking everything to b&w except a couple bands of color on your bike.

I really feel the composition and framing is pretty good here. The trees in the left balance out the vertical element of yourself in the right. There is a nice flow of lines and perspective even though the image is shot dead straight on.
I'm not crazy about your desaturation against the color, but that is a personal taste thing
It might work if you presented a series of self portraits where you were always without color, but in the solo context here it just seems odd.
Other than that, i think its good
    nice job

I like the photo. It feels whimsical, though I don't think the selective B&W adds anything -- except perhaps to make you look a little like the statues you sometimes see of people sitting on a bench.

The purple sky is a little much for me. It draws my eye more than anything else.

    Thanks for sharing.

Very nice portrait, but I'm not feeling the selective coloring.

Can we see it as shot?
